Slow cooking

Slow Cooking

Slow cooking uses an old-fashioned cast iron pan (a so-called Dutch oven) on an open fire. It´s great cooking a pot of food outdoors and the open fire gives the food a special flavor.

While the food is slowly simmering, there´s plenty of time for swimming or fishing. It usually takes about 3 hours to stew for the best result. Not only stews can be prepared in this way, but there may be even bread baked or apple pie.

We can arrange a workshop if you like.

In bad or cold weather, you can use the grill cabin that we have: delicious cooking on a real fire, while sitting on reindeer skins.
